Ryan Legal was lucky enough to welcome Luca Cherubin to the team in November 2019. With a keen passion for learning and a warm and compassionate personality, Luca has hit the ground running. In her first Blog article, Luca shares her thoughts on the move from the Big Smoke of Melbourne to Ryan Legal in Mildura.

I chose to study law because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of everyday people.

So, when the opportunity to work at Ryan Legal came up, I could not think of a better way to pursue this goal, than to pack up my bags and move to Mildura!

Ryan Legal has a great combination of the specialization and quality of a large firm, and the personalized, client centered care of a small firm. Despite its remote location, the firm uses technology to engage with experts from all over Australia and is ahead of the game in becoming a paperless firm.

As a Law Graduate at Ryan Legal, I have the opportunity to learn from expert legal professionals and develop my skills in a supportive environment. I have been blown away by the level of experience which is present within the Ryan Legal team, with every staff member bringing a unique set of skills and working together to achieve excellent results. The team genuinely cares about the wellbeing of our clients and works tirelessly to advocate for clients’ rights.

The fact that Mildura is situated on the great Murray River and in a terrific food and wine region is just a bonus!

Navigating through complex compensation systems can be difficult and many people may not be aware of their rights if they suffer an injury. My work feels very meaningful when I can assist clients with this process.

I am learning so much at Ryan Legal, and feel privileged to be part of such an incredible team.
